This pretty French Provincial 5 drawer chest is solid wood, & that wood fought me all the way 🙄

I sanded the entire piece hoping to stain it, but the wood was damaged & stained, and those stains just wouldn't budge. It was such a bummer, but I do love it in this gorgeous black from @legacypaintsco , Midnight Reserve!
